February 7 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm EST
The 2016 election inspired people from all walks of life to protest, march, mobilize, and organize in an effort to create a more compassionate and just world. Artists are vital to this work. Resistance Mic! is a space for this engaged art: a series of intimate, powerful performances on the theme of “Resistance,” taking place at the Oberon Theater in Harvard Square.
Part of the A.R.T. of Human Rights series, Resistance Mic! is an ongoing collaboration between the American Repertory Theater, Harvard Kennedy School’s Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, and Pangyrus LitMag. A portion of proceeds go to area social justice and literary arts organizations.
Next Resistance Mic! is Wednesday, February 7.
