Lance Larsen

Lance Larsen, poet laureate of Utah, has published four poetry collections, including Genius Loci (Tampa 2013). His poems and essays appear in such venues as Southern Review, The Times Literary Supplement, Orion, New York Review of Books, Poetry, Brevity, and Best American Poetry 2009. His essays have made the Notables List in Best American Essays four times. He has received a number of awards, including a Pushcart Prize and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. He teaches at BYU and recently directed a study abroad program in Madrid.
