Tim Weed is the author of a short fiction collection, A Field Guide to Murder & Fly Fishing, shortlisted for the Eric Hoffer Book Award, and a novel, Will Poole’s Island, named to Bank Street College of Education’s Best Books of the Year. He is the winner of a Writer’s Digest Popular Fiction Award and a Solas Best Travel Writing Award, and his work has appeared in Literary Hub, The Millions, Fiction Writers Review, Writer’s Chronicle, Colorado Review, Backcountry, and many others. A member of the Vermont Humanities Council Speakers’ Bureau and a co-founder of the Cuba Writers Program, Tim teaches fiction at GrubStreet and is on the core faculty of the Newport MFA in Creative Writing.
