Kai Moku-Jones, a Pacific Islander, is 1/4 indigenous Hawaiian, and an emerging queer author. A recent graduate of the University of Montana's MFA program, Kai is an unrepresented voice in the literary market. Kai recently relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she works part-time for a local newspaper and teaches creative writing classes at the Nambe Indian Reservation and SFISD. Kai's short stories have been published twice in the past six months in respected literary magazines.
