Pavithra Natarajan is an Infectious Diseases physician and a writer. She has extensive experience as a doctor in England’s NHS, worked with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the U.S. CDC during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has a Master of Public Health from Harvard. She wrote an MSF blog which was translated into Spanish, and previously won a BBC Radio 4 Writing Competition - her short story was broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Her essays have been published in Newsweek and Cognoscenti.
