Richard Hoffman is the author of seven books, including the memoirs Half the House and Love & Fury, the story collection Interference and Other Stories, and four books of poems: Without Paradise; Gold Star Road, which won the 2006 Barrow Street Press Poetry Prize and the New England Poetry Club’s Sheila Motton Book Award; Emblem; and Noon until Night, winner of the 2018 Massachusetts Book Award for poetry. His work has appeared in numerous journals including Agni, Cimarron Review, The Cincinnati Review, Colorado Review, The Common, Harvard Review, The High Window (UK), The Hudson Review, The Literary Review, PN Review (UK,) Poetry, Witness, World Literature Today, and elsewhere. He is Senior Writer-in-Residence at Emerson College.
