Congratulations to the Pangyrus Pushcart Prize nominees and their remarkable work! We were pleased to publish many wonderful poems, stories, and essays in 2025 and had a hard time choosing our favorites. Literary magazines and small presses may not be a significant portion of the publishing market, but we are mighty. Pangyrus and other literary magazines/small presses like us are a launching pad for writers. Publication leads to awards which leads to a book which leads to a career. We salute the nominees! And we champion all the writers whose work we publish!
